$5 Subs, Burrito Club and Bold Bites Breakfast

$5 Hoagies After 5 p.m. - Taylor Gourmet

I saw this walking past the Taylor Gourmet on 14th Street in D.C. Apparently, all regular subs at all of their locations are $5 after 5 p.m. Good for a cheap solo dinner or save it for lunch the next day.

Nothin' says lovin' like giant, overstuffed burritos.

Join the Burrito Club!

BTW, the next time you're at California Tortilla, sign up for their Burrito Elito loyalty program. Nearly every week, Cal Tort offers Burrito Club members a free item, whether it's a free taco, soup, chips and queso, cinnamon-sprinkled chips and Nutella (yes, there's such a glorious thing) soda, etc. For each 50 points you earn, Cal Tort adds $5 to your card - enough to cover the bulk of the cost of a burrito. It's free to join.

Bold Bites Expands Menu Offerings:
Breakfast and Doughnuts

Bold Bites is awesome, point blank. It's also relatively cheap, friendly, fast service and right next door
to the office. Now, they are open at 8 a.m. offering breakfast sandwiches, including an egg, half-smoke and cheese sandwich and several breakfast arepas. For those unfamiliar, arepas are pocket corn cakes filled with eggs, cheese, meats, etc. It's a popular South American food and really good. Bold Bites' prices range from $4.50 - 5.50.

They also have doughnuts! Small doughnuts! I haven't tried them yet, but a few people who did said they are good, but rather buttery. If you're a big Krispy Kremes fan, these might be right up your alley.
